Thank you Nigel Malcolm and Margaret for all that you do for us at Thursday club. It’s so good for us especially those of us who live alone to have something to focus on and look forward to each week. To be among friends in a safe warm space doing various activities and listening to different speakers helps our bodies and minds stay active even if the discussions are pretty loud sometimes. So once again thank you for all that you do for us it is much appreciated. X

Thank you once again, were would we be with out this club? With such nice people somewhere to go and keep warm, to have a laugh, 2 nice cups of tea and biscuits and speakers that come. We need places like this to talk together about what is wrong or right. Thank you all have a dance and a sing song. Thank you.

THE TEA CLUB IS SO IMPORTANT TO ALL US AND FOR THE FUTURE VISITORS . IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE OF A CERTAIN AGE TO HAVE SOMEWHERE TO HAVE A GET TOGETHER AND HAVE A GRAND TIME. ITS MUCH APPRECIATED BY ALL. HOPEFULLY YOU BOTH WILL BE ABLE TO GET THE FUNDING AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR.

Where would we be without our club?. It’s something to look forward to each week . Particularly for those that live alone and may not have family near. Its our social life having a laugh forgetting our troubles for a couple of hours. It's informative having speakers on numerous subjects, fish and chips, entertainment, outing to the coast, xmas party, panto, yoga the list is endless. As so many clubs are having to close we are getting more and more new attendants. All this for £2 per week which is affordable for most.

Thanks Nigel and Malcolm for our great club. It is so lovely to have somewhere to go, especially if you live on your own. It has such a welcoming atmosphere, where we can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while having a good old chat with such lovely friendly people. We have such a variety of events throughout the year which are always so enjoyable. Where would we be without this club, I hate to think. It's just a few hours a week of enjoyable fun away from any problems or worries we might have. It would be a terrible shame if this club had to close. We need Nigel and Malcolm to keep up the good work.

Thanks Nigel and Malcolm two lovely hard working lads. Our Thursday club is definitely a great little haven for all of us who have now become good friends. So much fun in a warm comfy friendly venue. Tea and biscuits are enjoyed by us all. Everyone is made welcome. The lads do everything to ensure that. It’s somewhere to meet like minded people regardless of age to be entertained and to entertain others with your company. so many different things take place speakers, singers, games, but of dancing always popular. Interesting. Chat afternoons are great. Fish and chips lunches. The banter between Nigel and Malcolm is good fun. A happy place. X

This a life saver for some of the people who come as they have people to talk and even make friends there plenty of different things of all kinds, pie and mash, fish and chips games, music, and the best, of all is Malcom and Nigel they make all welcome, they make laughter with there banter, it would a sad day if the club closed.

The club is a lifesaver for my husband and I. He is not very mobile so we could become a bit isolated so we both look forward to our Thursdays. Nigel and Malcolm make it fun with a wide range of activities which are enjoyed by all. We’ve made new friends and that has led to a better social life for us both.
Having been on a club Commitee myself for years I realise how hard it is to find things to do every week but they both work so hard to please everyone with varied activities, speakers quizzes and outings. We love it. Long may it continue.

I’m a fairly new member to the club. I’m so glad I’ve joined.
Malcolm and Nigel ensure that you are made very welcome, as do all the other members.
The last event was an auction donations by members to raise money for club. So much fun. I have loved the live music which always gets me up dancing.
There is always something different to enjoy and something to look forward to.
So glad I joined.
